The name “Parys” is an Afrikaans version of Paris. It is literally like a little version of Paris - South African style. Uncountable coffee and antique shops fill the streets. There is a vintage photo studio situated on the main road. Where you can go and have a 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s style picture taken. Or if you would prefer to have a more scenic picture taken, go to Studio J. With Studio J you and your family can go to whichever spot in Parys you want to have you photo taken! The best time to visit is in summer, because of all the water sports and various festivals. One of the most hidden gems in South Africa by far.
